They are very durable and comfortable as they are water and wind resistant, stain resistant and easy to clean. The mittens have elasticated wrists to keep them in place and ribbed cuffs to secure under outerwear sleeves. Please note that the puffer models do not have sealed seams and are therefore not fully waterproof.
