Slugs & Snails claims the title of the original boy's and girl's tights company. Born on a windy hill in the wild West of Ireland, the company got its start from an ingenious idea. Realizing how functional tights were for babies, the label set about starting a company that produced funky, organic tights for boys and girls, big and small. The collection was three years in the making and launched over a decade ago as the first unisex tights company for kids. Since then, it has grown to become a globally recognized and award-winning eco-friendly kidswear brand.

Eco-Friendly Unisex Tights

The company safeguards children's health and the environment, striving to produce in highly regulated and audited facilities to ensure that production and working practices are safe, certified and environmentally friendly. The collection only uses yarns and manufacturing processes with a minimum standard Oeko-Tex® 100 certification. It also uses GOTS-certified organic cotton yarns.

The label has also introduced recycled polyester into its tights with patterns that give it a high eco rating, giving parents and families confidence that the products are free of harmful substances or chemicals.
